Our Services
If you're one of the 655,700 people currently living in West Kent, it is NHS West Kent that commissions and pays for your healthcare from, for instance, hospitals in and outside Kent, GPs, dentists, pharmacists and optometrists.
The PCT sets high standards for all our healthcare providers to make sure you get the best possible care.
It also has 1,800 of its own staff who provide direct care for patients including, among many others, health visitors, registered nurses, physiotherapists, emergency nurse practitioners, occupational therapists and healthcare assistants.
They provide care for people in their own homes, in clinics, health centres and schools, in minor injuries units and urgent care centres, and in the PCT's six community hospitals. The PCT also provides help and advice to lead a healthier life
