At the heart of the PCT's plans is our continuing determination to improve health, reduce inequalities and secure best value services for patients within our allocated resources
Our planning is set in the context of the Kent Public Health Strategy, which identifies the particular needs of all the communities served by health and social care organisations in Kent.
The PCT's Strategic Commissioning Plan (SCP) sets out our vision, priorities and intentions until 2015. We regularly review and refresh it to ensure our plans remains up-to-date.

The PCT’s Operational Plan provides the first step towards achieving the challenging targets outlined within the three year SCP. The Operating Plan is the PCT's detailed spending plan for this financial year (1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011).
This year our plans include a focus on improving care for cancer, heart disease, diabetes, sexual health and mental health, and building our community equipment services.
Increasingly we are involving local people and partner organisations in helping us set our priorities for investment going forward. If you would like to get involved please sign up for the Health Network
