South East DriveAbility

Introduction

Practical Tuition for Novices
South East DriveAbility provides practical driving tuition for novices. Depending upon the area in which you live and the ability of our Driving Instructors, tuition can be arranged with us, or we can recommend a local instructor in your area.
In order to have practical driving tuition you must be in possession of a valid provisional driving license.
Driving tuition with South East DriveAbility is conducted by Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructors (DSA ADIs), and is taught to the same high standards as with any other professional driving school. An advantage to attending South East DriveAbility is that we are able to cater for clients who have disabilities or learning difficulties.
Refresher / Familiarization Tuition
South East DriveAbility can provide refresher / familiarization tuition.
In some circumstances, our Driving Advisors may recommend a course of refresher / familiarization tuition to those clients who have had an assement but whose driving may be 'rusty' for various reasons.
Common reasons for refresher / familiarization tuition include:
  • Confidence building
  • Updating skills and standard of driving
  • If you have had a break from driving for a period of time
  • If you wish to practice specific types of driving e.g. dual carriage way, roundabouts or maneuvering into a parking bay.

We provide assessments at the following locations:
  • Preston Hall Hospital, Aylesford, Kent
  • Strode Park Foundation, Herne, Herne Bay, Kent
  • Highmore, Western Road, Hailsham, East Sussex
