- Accessible by 480 bus (Dartford - Gravesend) which stops near the Livingstone and Fastrack Route A bus which stops at the bottom of East Hill.
- Visiting times are 2pm-5pm and 6pm-8pm. All meal times are protected from interruptions because of the importance of good nutrition in patients' recovery.
About Livingstone Hospital
Livingstone Hospital is dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of patients, mostly older people, as they recover from an illness or injury.
Nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other staff at the hospital support people to regain their strength, independence and confidence, so they can return home as soon as possible. Professor Ian Philp, the Government's National Director for Older People, said the Livingstone "epitomises the future of care for older people" in a national report published in January 2007.
