Sexual health and contraception

Looking after your sexual health is an important part of living a healthy lifestyle.

Sexual Health
In the UK we are seeing an increase in sexually transmitted infections (STI's) and termination of pregnancies especially in young people.
West Kent PCT provides sexual health advice, information and access to services.

We offer:

Family Planning Clinics |

These clinics are for everyone. You can get contraception, emergency contraception, condoms, termination referrals and most offer Chlamydia screening and confidential sexual health advice. All these services are FREE and confidential. Some of these clinics are drop in, others you may need an appointment.

Young People Clinics|

These clinics are especially for young people. You can get contraception, emergency contraception, condoms, termination referrals and most offer Chlamydia screening and confidential sexual health advice. All these services are FREE and confidential. All of these are drop in clinics, no appointment needed.

GUM/STI Clinics|

These clinics specialise in the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases. Maintaining good sexual health means wearing protection during intercourse and seeking early advice if you think you have an infection. Check out the Essential Wear website for all the information, advice and tips around condoms.
Check out your local health clinic or GP surgery or follow the For Young People |website link for timings and directions to your nearest clinic or service, and loads of good advice about how to stay safe and well.
